Moët Ice Impérial has been specially created for serving on ice. Accordingly, it has a characteristic fruity intensity, richness in the mouth and fresh finish.
The profile of the wines used in its blend have been meticulously selected for their specific contribution: a predominance of winey, angular Pinot Noir (40-50%), both for its fruity intensity and for the integrating structure it confers on the dosage; full, fleshy Pinot Meunier (30-40%), for its richness and fondu in the mouth; and Chardonnay (10-20%) with a touch of sharp acidity for a refreshing finish.
The deep golden hue is tinged with subtle amber hints.
The aromatic intensity strikes immediately, with aromas of tropical fruit (mango, guava, candied pineapple), ripe stone fruit (plum, nectarine), soft spices (liquorice, cinnamon, nutmeg), and an original touch of red fruits (cherry, raspberry) and aromatic plants (blackcurrant, peppermint).
The attack in the mouth is ample and fleshy, with a rich explosion of fruity savours (fruit salad, wild strawberries, raspberries in syrup) and sweet aromas (toffee, quince jelly), then the acidity emerges for a refreshing finish with notes of grapefruit, ginger and quinine.
Ice Impérial, served on ice, can be harmoniously complemented by "fresh" ingredients that highlight its fresh finish. We recommend a sprig of mint, a zest of lime or white grapefruit, or a few cardamom seeds.
